Zakir is a dedicated and accomplished former cricketer with over 23 years of experience in the sport. His journey in cricket has taken him from the playing field to the boardroom, where he has excelled in various roles related to cricket strategy, event management and operations, including at the International Cricket Council and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
As the Director of International Cricket Operations and in other key positions at the PCB, Zakir has played an instrumental role in shaping the direction of cricket, both domestically and internationally.

Zain is a seasoned legal professional with a distinguished career in the field of law, renowned for expertise in litigation, constitutional matters, and corporate law. He has also served as prosecutor for the National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan.
As a Partner at a local law firm, Zain has consistently delivered exceptional legal counsel to an extensive portfolio of clients, including prestigious organizations like PEMRA, Pace Pakistan Limited, Media Times Limited, Bank Islami, Bank of Punjab, Habib Bank Limited, and PPCBL, amongst others.

Areeba is a goal-driven and accomplished lawyer with over 10 years of proven expertise in delivering exceptional results in the complex legal landscape of professional sports. With a demonstrated proficiency in managing high-stakes litigation cases, leading legal teams, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes, Areeba’s expertise spans corporate governance, substantive and procedural legal matters, international transactions, and compliance.
Areeba has held pivotal roles within the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), including Head of Legal and Secretary to the Board of Governors; provided advisory services to various sports NGOs and organisations; and has also served as Member of UNESCO’s Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on the Safeguarding and Protection of Traditional Sports and Games.
